Hot And Coldplay

Congatulations to the connections of Sky Sunny.

This is Skyhaven's first 2 year-old to qualify this year. June 10th saw this Cambest filly out of Armbro Sizzle qualify in 2:00.0 at Scioto Downs. Sky Tantrum's little sister has big shoes to fill, but looks fully equipped and up for the challenge. Watch for her Mach Three brother this fall at the Canadian Open.

What have we done lately? Another season begins and Skyhaven graduates are already visiting the winners circle.

Watch for full brothers of Hot And Coldplay (1:54.4s, $223,375) and Sky Tantrum (1:51s, $207,323) at the Canadian Open Yearling Sale this fall.

Hot And Coldplay (Angus Hall - Stonebridge Lane):

June 8 - Hot And Coldplay is still hot as he wins again in 1:54.4 over the great Windsong Espior.

May 31 - Hot And Coldplay is extremely hot as he wins in 1:54.4 over rival Nureyev.

May 24 - Hot And Coldpay finishes second for new trainer Ryan Maxwell.

May 17 - Hot And Coldplay wins his second in a row at Mohawk.

May 10 - Hot And Coldplay comes from more than 10 lengths back to win at Mohawk in 1:56.4.

April 18 - With just four days rest, Hot And Coldplay makes a late rush to finish 3rd by a length in a time of 1:55 flat at Woodbine in just his second start after his qualifier.

April 14 - In his first start of the season, Hot And Coldplay wins by 3 lengths at Windsor in a time of 1:58.2

April 2 - Hot And Coldplay wins his qualifier after being off since November 15.

Sky Tantrum (Mach Three - Armbro Sizzle):

May 2 - Sky Tantrum wins in 1:51.3 at Mohawk.

March 28 - Sky Tantrum boosts his lifetime earnings over $184,500 with an impressive 2nd place finish in a time of 1:51.4 at Woodbine.

On January 24th the winner of $175,000 lifetime won again in 1:54.3 over a tough field at Woodbine. He too almost repeated in his last start, placing second in 1:52.1.

Society Kad (Kadabra - Heartless Society):

April 11- Society Kad finishes 4th coming from way back to pick up his 7th cheque in as many races.

April 4 - Society Kad finishes an impressive 2nd at Woodbine.

March 28 - Society Kad has a typical outing by closing hard to finish 3rd in a time of 1:56 at Woodbine.

March 20 - Society Kad closes hard again to win in 1:56.1 at Woodbine.

March 5 - Society Kad closes hard from way back to get beat by a nose in the General Brock Finals. This second place finish pushes his earnings over $74,000 for this lightly raced four your old.

On February 6th Society Kad won his qualifier by more than 11 lengths over such notables as Warrawee June (winner of $300,000). Despite not racing since August of last year, he closed well to get beat by a neck in the General Brock Series February 19th and then solidified a spot in the finals with a third place finish a week later.

Mannerheim (Kadabra - Infinite Image):

April 9 - Mannerheim takes an impressive 2nd coming from as far as 12 lengths back in the Tie Silk.

March 26 - Mannerheim finishes 3rd from way back in a time of 1:59.3 at Woodbine.

Another Kadabra making a mark after being interfered with in his first ever start. Comes back to win in convincing fashion on February 14th by more than seven lengths in a time of 2:03.

Cyclonic Dzturbanz (Sir Luck - Samantha Snow):

January 16th saw this tough mare win by more than 10 lengths in a time of 2:03.1. She then came close to repeating her accomplishment in her next race, getting edged to place second in a race time of 2:00.
